Namaste

Namaste (na, ma, stay) comes from Sanskrit, an ancient language from India.  It’s meaning is both spoken word and gesture.  The word translates to “the divine in me bows to the divine in you.”  The word is to show respect.  The Gesture is added when utmost respect is desired and is done by placing the hands together (like praying) in front of your forehead, bowing your head, then bringing your hands down in front of your heart.
